Ambassador of the month

Positive Impact is focused on educating and raising awareness about sustainability, so that by 2020, we can create a sustainable events industry. To achieve this, we have a global community of over 300 dedicated ambassadors.

Being an ambassador means being part of an international community that strives to incorporate sustainability in the events industry. Through monthly call to actions and quarterly educational materials, ambassadors are able to be agents of change and share the Positive Impact vision.

Due to great ambassadorial work, we have decided to hand-pick an ambassador each month to showcase their work and support. Through this monthly spotlight we are able to show our appreciation and say, "thank you"!

Ambassador of the month- july 2018

Laura has been an exemplary ambassador and a passionate supporter of Positive Impact. Her involvement in our initiatives show her passion for sustainability, both in her professional work and in her personal life.

Laura answered a few questions for us, to really showcase her amazing work.

Why did you become a PI Ambassador?

I was introduced to Positive Impact when I stepped into the events industry and joined ICC Sydney as their CSR Executive. The Ambassador program provides a great platform to connect with like-minded people and learn about what is happening on a global scale.

I love the monthly focus on a SDG and think that it’s a great way to keep those global goals front of mind, particularly within my role. I’m proud to be working with and representing a business that shares a genuine commitment to operating sustainably and supporting stakeholders and clients to do the same. So being connected within a global conversation sparks new ideas and ways of thinking that enable me to do that and share it with internal and external stakeholders.
