Trash Hero World

On Saturday the second of April, Trash Hero Singapore held a clean up in East Coast Park. This group of people meet up regularly to clean the beaches and streets of Singapore. They also work alongside local schools, providing educational materials and opportunities to join their clean up operations. On top of this to reduce waste, they also have a bottle refill program that saves thousands of single use plastic bottles from being thrown away - their bottles can be bought and refilled in a variety of different places around the city. According to sources, so far they have collected almost 3,500 kg’s of rubbish over 35 different clean ups.

Is your town or city bad for litter and can you think of any other solutions to the project?

How could you get groups of people to work together in order to keep our planet clean?
