Learning Goals

Learning goals for How to meet Race to Zero commitments through your events:

  1. Understand the role of The Race to Zero in shaping regulation, policy and advocacy

  2. How to join The Race to Zero

  3. How to measure your carbon footprint

How the learning goals will be achieved:

Learners are expected to progress at their own pace starting with an animation which explains what The Race to Zero is. Learners will be given access to practical resources covering the following topics:

  • Commit

  • Measure

  • Business strategy

  • Reduce own emissions

  • Reduce value chain emissions

  • Contribute to climate action in society

The resources for each section include animations, reading materials and more. The final part will be a learning output questionnaire.

Measuring how the learning goals will be achieved:

The learning output questionnaire is the final module (and the way to measure how well the learning goals have been reached). These are the questions that you will be asked, so you can consider them as you progress through the modules.

Question 1

Provide an outline, including at least 4 action steps, of how you would measure an event carbon footprint.
