Advance your sustainability commitments through your events and implement ISO 20121:2024
Event Industry Finland was formed in 2020 bringing together professionals and organizations from all across the industry: sports, culture, trade fairs, seminars, festivals and more. The alliance is still to date globally unique. Finnish experiences have proven that event industry has mutual goals and despite skin-deep differences, the industry has a lot to share and mutually fight for.
As initial existential threat (i.e. Covid-19) has passed new challenges have emerged. Since 2023 time industry has gone from post-Covid turbulence to an era of austerity in Finnish politics. As the industry promotes growth-focused policies there is a dire need for better recognition in legislation and public services as an industry of its own.
Event Industry Finland encourages international event industry to follow our example. There is a lot we can achieve by closing ranks and picking the low-hanging fruits of co-operation within industry.
