The procedure for determining internal and external issues is:

1. Through workshop with the sustainability team, complete an interactive exercise to determine:

• What external issues are relevant to the organisation’s purpose?

• What internal issues are relevant to the organisation’s purpose?

• What could affect the organisation’s ability to achieve the intended outcome of the management system?

• Where relevant use SWOT and PESTLE and existing company strategy information

2. This procedure will be implemented and reviewed annually during the sustainability team workshop
